Project Details : Nine fuel oil storage tanks for a major power plant were upgraded with an automatic tank gauging system and fuel oil transfer facilities. An Allen Bradley ControLogix redundant processor with a few remote IOs was used with FactoryTalk SCADA system. The SCADA was interfaced with the Enraf Tank Inventory System.

Project Details: Drinking water is an essential resource for an island state. This project was to treat seawater for cattle feeding purposes. The control system is a Rockwell ControlLogix platform, and the medium-voltage variable speed drives (VFD) are the ABB brand.

The challenge for this project was the hardware integration. VFD panels are very large in size, and all the panels must be with a purging system to be environmentally protected.

Project Details : This tank inventory panel is used to indicate Volume and Weight which is exist on Drop tanks. Volume and Weight Scaled /Calculated from Level of the drop tanks. Totally 15 drop tanks are available with different products. Every tank level value is calculated from pressure gauge which is available on the tanks. Allen-Bradley Micrologix 1500 Programmable Logic Controller is used to calculate the weight of the tanks which is taking reference value from Level/Pressure gauge – data table. Panel View Plus 1000 is used to display Drop tank data’s and operator can use touch option to move one screen to another screen and to entry some set point values.
